I have the fondest memories of working with Ken at Clonard College in the 80’s.
Condolences to June and Ken’s family.
I met Ken through Val who was in our botany group at Cardiff Univ. 1972-‘75.
Being a musician he appreciated folk music.
He was amazed when I played Veracruz and south American folk harp music. He said ‘that’s wild!’
He came to visit us when we settled in Mexico and once again when we were in Miami.
He loved his walkabouts, went round the world on the trans Siberian train from Vladivostok to Paris then on to America.
We exchanged yearly xmas greetings, I even learned the Welsh for Merry Xmas – Nadolig Llawen.
We will miss Ken

Ken & June George opened their home to me 37 years ago – a high school student from Texas.
Their generosity, kindness and guidance profoundly impacted my life.
I know that living with Ken & June changed path and blessed who I have become.
Ken’s stories of traveling around the world with June “on the smell of an oily rag” inspired me to adventure and travel in my own life and now with my son.
Ken inspired me to love books, cooking and the great indoors. June pushed me to get outside, hike, ski, and try to understand math. (never did master that one).
June, Ali – I’m so sorry for your loss.
I know you are better people for having known and loved, and been loved, by Ken.
Dear June and family,
Susan and I were shocked and very saddened to learn of Ken’s passing.
It’s been many years, but we haven’t forgotten your friendship and your visit to us here in Seattle.
We really valued and appreciated Ken’s wisdom and thoughtful insights professionally and personally.
He was kind and gentle with a lovely warm sense of humor.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to you June.
Sincerely,
Peter and Susan.
Thinking of you all at this sad time and wishing I could be with you.
A wonderful man who will be sorely missed.
To Aunty June and Alison,
Our deepest condolences and sympathy with the passing of Uncle Ken. We are praying for you both and Ken’s family too, during this time. Our thoughts are with you on Thursday as you remember and celebrate Ken’s life. Our apologies for not being able to attend on Thursday.
I remember his funny humour, wit and amazing talent at the organ and piano from the few times I heard him play when we were younger. He’ll be making music with the heavenly choir now!
Sending our love and prayers,
Blessings, Erin and Aaron Bell
Our deepest sympathies for your loss.
It was truly an honor to have met and shared time with Ken.
We recall his gentlemanly manner, his kindness and sense of humor.
May he rest in peace.
June, Ali and family, we want to acknowledge and send our deepest condolences and sympathy for you all in this heartbreaking time.
We have been so privileged to be part of your lives over the years and have the opportunity to met Ken within this time. You are a beautiful family and we can only imagine the greatest of loss you are feeling.
Sending so much love, support and prayers to you all.

A twenty-first century Renaissance man, Ken was a brilliant, intelligent, witty and entertaining conversationalist. This was matched by his caring and kind nature, his insatiable curiosity and his droll sense of humour. Simply put, he was just excellent company.
June and Ali, please accept my deepest condolences.
We all are going to miss dear Ken so very much.
Dear June and Ali
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Ken.
He was a warm and generous man.
He will be sorely missed
