Maxine Dawn Deller
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maxine Deller, aged 63.
Maxine was a dearly beloved wife to Rod, mother to Adam, Tim, and Loren, and treasured Granny to Lina, Hayley, William, Sophie, and Lilah.
She welcomed Anneke, Sarah, and Sahil into the family and loved them like her own.
She was a dear sister to Les, Yvonne, Heather, Bev, Shirley, and Brian, and an aunt and great-aunt to the whole McLeod clan.
Maxine was loyal, caring, creative and deeply devoted to her family, friends, and the wider community, with a boundless capacity to give.
She will remain always in our thoughts and hearts, as her influence has shaped us all and guides us into the future.
She is so dearly missed.

She was a true friend to all, with a smile and a hug her signature greeting.
Dear Rod and the Deller and extended family.
My thoughts are with you all at this time.
I know only too well how losing a loved one will tear at your heart forever but the funny and emotional moments that were Maxine will remind you that she will live on within you forever.
What a strong and loving woman Maxine was.
An inspiration to us all.
Be gentle on yourselves and cry as if no-one is looking.
It will help a little.
Live on Maxine you superwoman.
Dear Maxine,
I remember the day we met. It was within the first two weeks of March 1987 and Heath had just started in grade 3 at Teesdale Primary school.
Tim was very close to being born and we chattered opposite the school after you introduced yourself to me.
I was immediately drawn to you Maxine as you were friendly, warm and inviting towards me who had only been living in Teesdale for a few days.
We became friends as a family, and as girlfriends. We attended cabarets, fundraisers for numerous Teesdale communities, played tennis together for years, attended each other’s family functions.
In later years we sat together at the GFC home football matches and cheered hard together.
I just want to thank you Max for accepting my friendship and being so kind to me when I needed it most.
You are one very kind, special lady whom I will miss.
Miss you forever and I will never forget you 💞💞
