Mike,
Though we took different paths after we came back to Australia, I remember our childhood together fondly.
I remember hours spent playing with Lego knights and castles sets, staying up all night listening to Metallica and talking about black holes, the various science experiments, the security that came from having Australian friends in America, and of course lots of time gaming and programming together in the basement.
You are missed.
Our deepest condolences Geoff and Dianne on the passing of Mike.
RIP Michael.
Thank you for the time spent living with us in Ocean Grove.
Thank you for the time you spent with our kids.
You were wonderfully kind and had a heart of gold.
Apologies that only Kate and Nate could make it down.
Rest easy bud.
– Lots of Love Kate, Grant and the kids.
A grandson who I would have loved to have known better.
Out of pain now Mike
Peace be with you.
– Love from your Grandma Elsie
Our deepest sympathy to Geoff, Dianne and family.
We have some very beautiful memories of Mike.
He had his struggles but always had a beautiful heart.
We appreciate all the help he gave us with the garden at Batesford.
He loved coming out there and being able to bring his beloved dog Monster.
We will miss him dearly.
Dear Geoff & Dianne
Our thoughts are with you at this incredibly heartbreaking time!
No parent should outlive their child.
We hope that the cherished memories, photos & moments you shared with Mike will bring you both some comfort.
Love Rob & Thea
Michael always had such a broad friendly smile that would light up the room and have everyone else smiling along with him.
He suffered so much in recent years – that is now over.
He was admired and loved and remembered.
Dear Michael,
We met you first when you were a little boy in Munich around 1982.
And again winter 1995/96 in Rochester NY State/USA.
At last we had the pleasure of meeting you in 2015 in Geelong.
All the years you were just “little Michael” even when you were a grown-up by that time.
We nurse a warm feeling to you and are very depressed and sad receiving the news of your passing away.
Rest in peace and without any pain.
One day we are convinced of, we will meet again.
– Gisela and Michael
