Phil, you meant so much to so many.
It’s difficult to say goodbye, especially to understand the reasons why.
I guess the angels needed you that day so they came and took you away.
You live on forever in your beautiful son Michael and 4 gorgeous grandkids.
At the moment there are lots of tears but they will ease in awhile and be replaced with joyous smiles. As they recall fond memories of you and of the things you used to do. Don’t fret for Michael, Anna and their kids. He is strong just like you.
Of them all I know you are so proud.
Michael is a “Guesty” he will soldier through.
Used to call you “soldier man” so fly high now Soldier man here on earth you’ve done all you can.
As the saying goes “At the going down of the sun and in the morning we shall remember them” Lest we forget.
    RIP Phil.❤

I have never seen you so happy than when you met and married Phil, Vicki.
What a blessing you were to each other.
Not everyone gets to meet their soul mate Vicki, but you had such a special man in Phil, and made so many wonderful memories together.
Hold on to these Vicki, and when you are feeling sad just hold on the fantastic times you and Phil had together. So precious.
Although the season together on earth was short, the ones in eternity that you will have together will be forever.
Keeping you in my prayers little sis.
Any time you just need a chat call me xx🥰❤🙏

In memories sweet, your spirit roams, Philip, known as Bear, in loving homes.
Uncle Bear, Poppa Bear, names so dear, Brother, husband, father, ever near.
Compassionate heart, mischief in your eyes, Loving souls, beneath starlit skies.
Believer in God, our savior true, In every smile, we feel your view.
Lover of life, of family’s embrace, In every memory, your presence we trace.
Though you’ve journeyed beyond our sight, Your love and light forever alight.
In hearts you’ve touched, your legacy lives, Through joys and tears, your spirit gives.
Rest now, dear brother, in heaven above, Wrapped in eternal, boundless love.

I’m so sad to hear of your passing Phil.
We worked together for a few years at Mercy Health, and you were someone I could look up to and have an honest chat with.
I will always remember our chats, your caring attitude, your jokes and your strong nature.
    My condolences to your family.
    Love Nicole

  6. I am deeply sorry to hear this.
Sending the family love, strength & empath.
So ironic we were just talking about how much we miss working with you and how much I absolutely respected you.
Thank you for always being available when we needed help, your endless support during the times we have worked together and I have always felt safe working with you.
It was a pleasure knowing you and working with you.
    Rest in peace Phil.
I’m sure we will share jokes & laugh together again. Cheers!

  7. My littlest Brother Phil (Plip Plop)

Phil, oh gentle soul, with a beautiful smile,
Your sweet kind heart, enriched my life awhile.
With humor so comic, you lit up the room,
A privilege, indeed, bro – you were taken too soon

Your faith was strong, you walked your talk,
In every step, leaving an indelible retort
As we bid farewell, tears fall like rain,
For your absence, dear brother, brings endless pain.

But memories cherished, forever they’ll stay,
In our hearts, you’ll forever hold sway.
A true Aussie mate, our bond will never sever,
Phil, gentle soul, we’ll miss you forever.

    X Anni your big Sis

To my Dad, not sure what else to say but I love you and wanted you to know how proud I am of the man you are.
I know you would be filled with such joy to hear this.
When I look at your 4 beautiful grandkids, I see your eyes, I hear your laughs, I feel your warmth in their hugs, I experience your cheeky sense of humour everyday, there mischievous grins when they are being silly, there passionate little debates they have, their caring cuddles and gestures when I am down or unwell, they are so much like you in their own little ways.
Please know you will be forever loved and remembered.
You live on in not only me but your beautiful granddaughters as well, please know I have found a sense of happiness knowing you are at peace no doubt running amok having the best of times with all the family and friends and it brings me such joy that you are now free to come and visit and watch your beautiful princesses take on life’s amazing journey.
I wish you were here to hold my hand as I hold their’s but it’s ok, it’s my turn now to chase away the monsters and turn off the lights knowing your right there beside me, forever my guiding light.

So grateful to have met Phil at table tennis.
I cannot begin to image how heartbroken you must be feeling Vicki.
Hold onto the sure hope that your husband is with his blessed Saviour.

The last time I saw him was at Robby’s Dad’s service.
I waved and he waved back with a huge smile.
What a perfect way to remember Phil!

May God be your strength, mercy and comfort in the days ahead 🙏🏻

Phil it was my pleasure to work with such an amazing nurse and a friend at Mercy Health Werribee.
I am so sad to hear this.
My deepest sympathy to Vicki and all your family.
    Love Mary ❤️

  12. I am so sorry for your loss.
Phil was an amazing clinician and peer.
    Did his job with diligence.
A kind man who was always willing to help anyone.
Psalms 37: 29… a time to look forward to.

It is with a heavy heart and a lost soul deep inside me, that I will always remember and cherish the time I got to have with this great person, father and best mate.
I will never forget our memories we had together and the journey we took.
You will alway be in my heart and were taken way to soon from us all.
At least now you can rest and be at peace with yourself and I know that if God willing I will be there with u again.
I will always love u and I will never forget u mate if I could make a call one last time I would tell u how much u meant and will always mean to love you dad gone but will never be forgotten.
