Evan & Karyn’s heartfelt thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time.

  3. Remembering Dave from cricket days in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
We both lived on Beaumont Cres in New Plymouth so had many drinks at the Joyce’s place and many drunken days at Pukekura Park watching and yelling at Central District cricketers!
Those were great days. RIP Dave

  4. Debbie and the late Jim Robinson

Will always remember the good old days at the Captains Cabin and how you would always make everyone laugh.
Condolences to all your family at this sad time.

    Rest easy Dave.

You’ve left a household full of love and laughter.
Even through the darkest of clouds, there are rays of sunlight shining through.
Keep watching over them and send them your loving and hilarious messages every chance you get.

We are thinking of Dionne and the family at this time.
We always enjoyed catching up with David when he stayed with Cushla & Dean on his visits to NZ.
He was very knowledgeable with various sports, stats, times and stories included.
Johann and Jacinta were very grateful for Dionne and David’s hospitality when they visited Melbourne.
Most of all, we will remember David for his sense of humour which captured everyone around him.
    Rest in Peace David.

  7. Sorry for your loss.
Dave, I only met you 3 or 4 times,
But I’ll never forget the larger than life character who made me feel like I’d know you all my life.
Your sense of humor and outlook were always entertaining.
    You will be sadly missed
    – Sincerely David Abel.
